Teaching at n-squared labs grows out of the same curiosity that drives our research. We invite students into open questions rather than closed answers, share our vision of where engineering and neuroscience meet, and encourage each student to find the corner of this field where they can make a real difference. Our courses center on understanding how the human body generates movement — from neural commands to muscle activation to the forces that carry us through the world — and equip students with the novel tools needed to translate that understanding into technologies that restore independence and autonomy for patients. We hope our students leave not only with new skills, but with the conviction that they can shape what comes next.
