We congratulate Michael März for finishing his bachelor’s thesis on the topic of “Implementation of an Online Calibration and Prediction Pipeline for Hand Movement Intention”.
The loss of the ability to control the hand means a restriction in almost all areas of daily life and dependency on constant assistance. For this reason, Michael investigated in his bachelor’s thesis how movement intention can be predicted and visualized non-invasively in real-time. The method developed in his bachelor’s thesis is the first step to voluntarily controlling an exoskeleton or a prosthesis.
